I’ve purchased Logitech trackballs for over a decade. They always lose click lock functionality. They are expensive, and eventually, all go the same way. I have bought many other types of brands in search of a good replacement. I love trackballs and prefer them to a regular mouse. Along came ProtoArc. This mouse is awesome. I’ve been using it for a few months, and have no complaints. I love the fact I can turn on and off the rib light. The scrolling is smooth. Doesn’t lose click-lock focus so far. It’s a bit fast, Burt. You can change the sensitivity. Mine is a bit high as I have 4 monitors and have to whip across sometimes.

I have used trackballs for over 20 years, and they all have been Logitech. This feels just like like them. I’ve had it for a few months now, and it would be perfect except for the battery life. it’s surprisingly short; thank goodness it’s rechargeable. Otherwise, I would have returned it. It toggles between my main computer and my laptop seamlessly. As long as you don’t mind recharging it every three weeks, buy it. I’ll update this during my ownership. I have Logitech ones several years old this little guy has a lot to hold up to; let’s see if it’s up to the challenge.
